Weekend of Science @ Thales

On Saturday 4 October, from 14:00 to 17:00, we will participate for the first time in the Weekend van de Wetenschap. The SFC building in Hengelo will serve as the venue for a special “behind the scenes” experience in science and technology, aimed at children aged 8 to 14.

Technology comes to life – come see and join in!

We are preparing an afternoon filled with demonstrations and experiences surrounding our technologies to stimulate curiosity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) professions. Activities will include Virtual and Augmented Reality demonstrations, the Thales Cyber Escape Room, Squire Radar, GM200 MM/C Radar, and both 3D and laser technologies. The Thales Museum will also open its doors for this special occasion.

The Weekend van de Wetenschap is an initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Science, Education and Culture. Its goal is to bridge the gap between science and the citizens of the Netherlands, and to inspire young people regarding the possibilities of a career in science and technology.
