Seven additional GM200 MM/C radars for the Royal Netherlands Army

April 16, 2024

Earlier this year, we signed an agreement with COMMIT (Dutch defence procurement and material organisation) on the supply of seven additional Ground Master 200 Muli-Mission Compact radar systems (GM200 MM/C), with an option for two additional systems. This contract follows a 2019 contract that already included the delivery of nine systems, for which we handed over the first system to the Royal Netherlands Army in February.

The GM200 MM/C is one of the most flexible radar systems on the market, offering operators more time-on-target to gain as much information as possible about possible threats. The radar system is capable of automatically detecting, tracking and classifying targets. With this, targets such as drones, artillery, aircraft, and helicopters can be clearly visualised. The radar can be used to locate these targets and monitor and secure airspace.

We greatly appreciate the Royal Netherlands Army confirming its confidence in the GM200 MM/C with the purchase of these seven additional systems, with an option for two more. We are proud to contribute to the safety of military personnel and the security and surveillance of the European airspace. Gerben Edelijn
