Project Arduino 2016

524 students, 214 Arduinos and 104 projects: Project Arduino 2016 is almost at it's end. All of the country winners have been awarded their prizes, by the end of January a public vote will start to determine who will win the big international title!

Noord/Zuidlijn

Together with other partners Thales is building the Noord/Zuidlijn. All of the hard work is really paying off now, even Ramses Shaffy is present.

The mast of the Zr. Ms. Groningen is once again decorated with a christmas tree. Hoisting the Christmas tree goes back to the heyday of the Dutch merchants. Since 2012, the honor is bestowed on patrol ship Zr.Ms. Groningen.

Escort

Again the Zr.Ms. Van Amstel escorted a Russian ship through the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The Dutch frigate awaited the Russian one early Friday morning and escorted it through the Northern Sea. It's the second time in one-and-a-half week's time the Dutch navy ship had to escort a Russian ship.
