Spreading knowledge on Giving Tuesday
Technology for all is something we strive towards. This striving inspired us in our Giving Tuesday plans. 'Giving Tuesday' is a reaction to Black Friday, it is a day where people are encouraged to give back. For a few years, Thales has joined the Giving Tuesday moment with contributions from all around the world. This year, we are joining from the Netherlands, and we want to share one of the things most valuable to us; our colleagues and their knowledge.
Which is why we've invited three colleagues to give lecture about topics they are passionate about to different live audiences. However, we are not limiting the content of these lectures to the audiences visiting us, we will share the recordings of these sessions through our social media with a much broader audience. Sharing a bit of the knowledge and expertise of our colleagues and contribute to a bigger understanding of technology.
Three lecturers and three topics
For now, we focus on three lectures given by three different experts. Gerard Hoekstra, Product Line Manager Cyber and Eric Kappel, Mechanical Engineer, provided lectures (about cyber, and digital citizenship & radar technology) for high school students and Lukas Roffel, Chief Technical Officer, will talk to university students about innovation (and the context in a big, international organisation).
Do you want to watch these lectures as well? Or do you know kids who would like them? Be sure to follow us on social media!
