Exchanging operational experience at the TACTICOS user days

The best way to improve your product is by listening to its users, which was one of our objectives for our TACTICOS Operational Users days, September 15th & 16th.

Since the launch of its very first version in the early 1990’s, TACTICOS has earned the trust of over 25 navies worldwide to function as the Combat Management System on board their vessels. Despite a strong, decades-long legacy the teams involved do not rest on their laurels. Over time, Thales has come out with new functions and capabilities to match the operational requirements of a constantly evolving threat landscape. In recent years, for example, TACTICOS has been strengthened with AI-driven operator support and the capability to counter drone swarms. 

A key driver for Thales’s product development roadmaps are the operational experiences and requirements of our end-users, the operators who use our solutions in the field, or in this case at sea. To deepen our mutual understanding, we invited various European partner navies, familiar with our Combat Management System, to the Tacticos Operational User Days. Through dialogue, workshops and demonstrations, together, we are shaping the future of Naval CMS, the future of TACTICOS.
