"I studied Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Enschede. Following a career in software development, project management and sales and marketing I was appointend General Director of Thales Communications in 2002. Two years later I became responsible for all Land Defense & C4I activities of Thales Nederland (Eindhoven, Ypenburg and Huizen) as well.
In 2009 I became vice-president Multi-Domestic Operations in Paris. This position put me in charge of Land Defense & C4I activities in Europe, the United States and Canada. In April 2010 I was appointed CEO of Thales Nederland and became responsible for all Thales activities in the Netherlands. In addition I am in charge of the Above Water Systems business line in the Thales Group.
All in all a highly challenging job which I try to fulfill with great enthusiasm."
